Why does NFC emphasize education?

We understand how far behind these children are educationally, and we’re committed to providing the additional support and programs necessary to make it possible for them to become independent and productive citizens.

To support their education, NFC provides the children with everything they need to attend Khmer Public School: money, transportation, uniforms and help with homework. Some of the children also attend additional classes at New World Institute and ACE. The children also get the opportunity to study English with local and international volunteer teachers from organizations such as Teachers Projects Abroad and Outreach International.
