New Future for Children is a special place for children, a place of the heart and of the mind. In its four years of existence the director and staff have led and nurtured the children to form a caring community which deeply touches those who visit.

In concert with this is the emphasis on education. The children's days are rich with so many learning activities that it is sometimes a challenge to add new ones. Amidst the formal learning, another type of learning takes place during the children's time to play sports, including soccer (football), volleyball and basketball.

At meal times children eat together in family-style groups. Some of children have helped to prepare the food, others help to serve it and others will help clean up afterwards. All of them appreciate the opportunity to share with each other during meal times as well as during the many other activities of the day.
